DIVING

The club is active throughout the year but it does get a bit quieter in the winter, which is a great time for training and developing other skills, such as social ones! We carry out all pool and theory training at the Spiceball centre.

For inland sites we usually use Stoney Cove especially for open water training and shakedown dives. Our central location means we are not tied to one part of the coast so we visit a wide variety of dive sites around the UK.

In recent years we have been to many places along the South Coast, Devon, Cornwell, West Wales, West of Scotland, Scapa Flow and the Farne Islands. There has been club trip to Gozo and members have dived together in many other exotic locations, a favourite being the Red Sea.

Between us all we have a considerable amount of information and experience about a huge range of dive sites and how to organise trips to dive them.
